NMT Electronics began unofficially in Amman, Jordan, in May 2018, as a proposed startup focused on affordable home automation solutions. The first product, the Sentry home security system, a simple yet reliable multi-node wireless alarm, was successfully deployed and has been operating in the field since, establishing a proven foundation for what followed.

Launched officially in December 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the company transitioned fully to an all-online, cross-border model, expanding its scope to include one-stop electronics engineering services, consumer and development products, and community resources. Since then, NMT Electronics has actively engaged with the global engineering community through free technical resources, intellectual products, and international collaborations.

Educational services were formalized with the establishment of NMT Electronics Academy™, offering structured online courses, qualification exams, and mentorship programs designed to elevate engineering skills and professional readiness. As of 2026, NMT Electronics continues to grow its product lineup, client engagements, and academic partnerships, operating as a trade name under NMT Technologies LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA.
